Filipino Foods! HELP!?

My Filipino priest had his friends and us over for a barbecue. They made this dish they called Chocolate Beef. I don't know the exact recipe, but it's basically beef cooked in cow blood. The blood thickens until it looks like beef in chocolate pudding (hence the name). It was kind of sour but really good!
