What shoes to wear that aren't too tall with my cheetah/leopard halloween costuume but are still cute?

My halloween costume is a cheetah or leopard It has a really cute one shoulder top with a skirt that ties and I will probably wear brown or black leggings underneath the skirt. I'm not sure what shoes to wear though. I think heels would look cute with it but if i wear heels I might be taller than my boyfriend which bothers me and I can't wear tall heels for the entire night. I was wondering what kind of shoes I should wear that would look cute? =/ Thanks!
