Buzz Under the Stars at City Market: What are the roads like these days?

We are coming from the Liberty area to the KC City Market for the Buzz concert on Friday night. I've heard there is a lot of construction. Is the market going to be hard to get to, or does the construction not affect it? I'll be driving I-35 heading south.
