Does it seems as if the NFL this year is yellow flag happy?

The officials this year are almost officiating basketball. Every slight little touch on a QB, WR etc... seems to be illegal in some way. I know rules are rules but this is a contact sport. Another question, myself a Miami fan living in PA (it isn't easy trust me) I've noticed that every defense in the league can smack Ben around yet, Tom is off limits ? Could be just me and this isn't because I am a Steeler fan, GO FINS !!! (1-15, 11-5, don't matter still a fan 19years !!!)
