How to cook the best chicken/veg soup!?

If you have a slow cooker, I find this is the best way to cook chicken for soup. I like this because you slowly cook the chicken and the flavor from the bones add so much to the soup. Cook on high for 2 hours then low for 2 hours, remove chicken and strain the liquid for your base. Put liquid in cooking pot and proceed with your veggies listed above. If you don't have a slow cooker but sure to low boil your chicken for a couple of hours. I like to add garlic powder, black pepper, thyme (can be dried and not fresh), oregano and a little salt to my soup.
