To whom it may apply: Why do you hate atheists so much??

I think the believers who hate the non-believers do so because those believers are very self-righteous and have a controlling type of personality, and the non-believers refuse to be "sucked in" by a belief system that doesn't make sense to them. Certainly not all believers - especially the ones who truly follow their religion - hate non-believers.
