What do you guys think i should do?

It sounds like he is remorseful about all of it and wants to start fresh which is a good thing, but one thing sticks out about all of this. And that's the fact that he kept on texting her and "hoped she would stop"!! Why didn't he just tell her it was over and end it? Anyway, I suggest two things here. Stay on your toes, keep an eye out and communicate with him and work together at making each other happier.
