Would attachments to certain foods determine the location of the next reincarnation?

I was thinking that yogis do a lot of fasting to break their attachments to the physical plane, as if the mouth was the entrance into the dimension. Only in the spiritual realm, closing our taste sensations down would open up the doors to the other side. If that is the case, then our physical attachments to the physical plane comes mostly from actually ingesting matter and getting sustenance to stay on the physical plane with a physical body. Wouldn't it seem then that the type of foods we have the most attachments to will determine where we will like to be born in our next life? So if I've been living in America, living on an American diet, then I will want the same diet next time around, and where I am born won't have much to do with relationships or anything else except food. Then after food probably the type of ual partner I prefer would come in a close second.
