I occasionally ponder with vigor what will happen to a man or woman who is a Bigot?

I have observed many questions that are related to race, color, etc. Some people respond very negatively and some even curse. Some even considered themselves devoted to a religion. Is there a reason intelligent men and women cannot address these types of questions with their intelligence, as opposed to their ignorance?

My neighbour is so rude: ignoring me when I do kind things for her, not even saying hello if she sees me, etc?

I live in a studio flat, alone. I am responsible for paying the hall eletricity bill and I have to get the money owed to me, by writing my neighbours notes to request the money from them .It may seem like such a petty thing, but I can't stand doing this. My neighbours are so rude and unfriendly. They never thank me for doing this chore. One neighbour recently is the worst: some flowers came by Interflora recently for her, and I signed for them, and took them into my flat after leaving her a note saying they were with me and she could pick them up for me (it was a ruse, so that she would have to face me and say thank you). But in the end, I went out and came home later than I had said I would, in my note, so the next morning, I just placed the flowers out in the hall for her to take. I still expected a thank you knock on the door, or a note saying thank you, at least, but nothing. Again, I don't want to seem petty, but I feel so upset about this. She may be cross with me as I have had to ask her to ask her friends to write to her calling her flat 'rear' flat as they were all writing to her addressing her flat as MY flat's name. But surely I was justified in asking her, politely, to please call her flat a different name? Surely that is not a reason for her to dislike me? Part of me doesn't care at all what she thinks of me )I am older, she is in her 20's, I'm late 30's, I've lived a full life, I'm quite strong in myself). But I am quite old fashioned in my expectations of manners and I think it is so unneighbourly that she is ignoring me and not thanking me. She even leaves post in the hall, that has fallen on the floor, and doesn't place it on the stairs for my flat and for the other flats. I, on the other hand, take the post and place it on the stairs for people. I do it out of common courtesy and consideration. I know, in life, that you can't tell people to say thank you, but part of me really wants to calmly but ertively ask this woman why she is being so rude. Of course, I will not take in any post for her again, but it seems a shame that I have to resort to being unneighbourly, myself, just because she is. I'd much rather continue being a good neighbour, but she riles me so much with her rudeness that I don't want to treat her kindly any more, I mean, why should I? Please help, I am very upset about this. Do you think I should confront her? Ignoring the problem isn't helping : I'm just stewing about it in silence. Thanks x

Go to the interview, and sometimes the person that gives the phone interview will not give the in person interview for wal-mart jobs, also there are usually lots of people who will interview for any given position at wal-mart, and they will ask you again which position are you applying for, so tell them then that you would prefer electronic position. Whats wrong with me?

All the disorders that you probably had in the past could've contributed to this new anxiety. I empathize from this type of stuff first hand , and there can always be disturbing thoughts/images that could potentially be addressed with self help. When there is not one problem going on, or it seems seems that it might've went away, unfortunately, another one will always instantly take its place. Sometimes there are some other medical conditions that might be a culprit of the physical anxiety symptoms, and if they continue to get bothersome, you should consider taking it up with your regular doctor to rule out any other possible illnesses. It would at least provide the comfort to reure you that you are supposedly in good physical conditions and all the problems stem from some kinda psych illness. Btw, the downside of anti anxiety medications is that they are only meant for short term usage and can become dependable and/or ineffective after you developed a tolerance for it. Anyway, I guess its your decisions to really decide to go with the shrink when all else fails and its inevitable. Good Luck

How do i get my son to sleep in his crib all night?

I have a 3 month old and we are starting to put him in his crib because he was getting to big for the binet. He is a very crazy sleeper...constantly moving it seems like. In order for him to go to sleep in his crib we have to make sure we rock him and soothe him until he's out cold. We then can lay him in there and he will sleep for about 4 hours. He will wake up screaming and we go and put his pacifier in his mouth and he will be fine, but only for about 15-20 minutes. Then we'll have to do it over again, and this is how the rest of the night goes. Some nights I'll admit that I get really tired of going in there and giving it to him so I bring him into bed with us and as soon as I do that he is back to sleep. And he will sleep fine all the way until about 8:30 the next morning. I don't want to keep having him sleep in our bed because I know in about 8 months I'll b e regretting it! How "safer" is the "new safer IE8"?

Adrian Peterson is obvious. Its a tough decision between Rivers, Austin and Boldin. Probably should let Boldin go because Baltimore isn't a p heavy offense so you never know what Boldin is going to do there. Dallas did add a big time WR when they added Dez Bryant so he might take away some of the stats Austin had last year. So when it comes down to it I think you choice has to be Rivers. He is a top 5 fantasy QB and if everyone else decides on keeping there QB it will be hard to find a replacement.

I am trying to start working out again but i'm not sure how much i should start with and how often?

I live next to a retired judge and a judge close to retiring and they both can't stand her. She's an insult to the judicial system the way she deals with people. She indulges in melodrama all for the sake of ratings. She screams and screeches and shrieks at people with the attitude "the public enjoys this". These two judges have dealt with characters FAR worse than the people Judy deals with and these two neighbor-judges have never had to scream, "That's ridiculous!" or "You're an idiot!"

Make the conversation nice and let them know that you are sad and confused. Let them know that you feel lost right now and need their support. And about your sister, don't worry about how your parents treat her. They let her do things that you were not allowed to do because they learned from raising you. The first child usually is watched more carefully than the second child. They found out that you don't break too easily just like many other parents. They are just doing the best that they can. How to get wavy hair?

I would try doing pin curls. Wash your hair. After towel drying it, section your hair into small sections. Twist the sections and then twirl them and pin them to your scalp. They should look like small, twisted lumps on your head. Do this all over. Sleep on your hair or let it air dry. Hopefully it will provide you with nice waves. (C++) question about GUI's?

I'm currently in my 2nd semester of C++ (Object Oriented C++) and going to take a 3rd C++ cl next semester (Data Structures and Algorithms taught in C++). The one thing I noticed so far, and it's still early in the 2nd semester, is that it seems pure C++ isn't good for developing a GUI. I was told that I should just start learning Visual C++ in my spare time since it's real easy to make GUI's ... but the thing is I'm more interested in Linux and from what I gather Visual C++ is more for making windows apps? Is there a multi-platform compiler thats good for GUI's as well as linux/windows/mac apps without favoring one system over the next?

I have a 38 gallon tank that I just bought. Came with everything except fish. I filled it and have it running right now. I put Tetra Aqua brand Aqua Safe water balancer and Petco brand bacteria into the tank. I am running an Emperor 400 on it right now. I've done a fair amount of research into the chemicals dumped into municipal tap water. Did you know that fluoride is actually a harmful chemical? Yep. AND has not been conclusively proven to strengthen tooth enamel. But, all the water filtering jugs n such (ie Brita and Pur for a couple) say they remove 'most chlorine, but leave the beneficial levels of fluoride'. I come from well-water upbringing, (best water on earth!!), but now have city water. My cat is licking her fur and chewing like her skin is bothering her... and this has started since I switched her from Reverse-Osmosis water from the ranch in CA to the city water here in SC. I'm poor (read BROKE), but I can afford a big jug of water if it'll help her feel better. So... Distilled? or 'purified drinking water. What's your opinion?

6 month old baby and crib help!?

If you have a slow cooker, I find this is the best way to cook chicken for soup. I like this because you slowly cook the chicken and the flavor from the bones add so much to the soup. Cook on high for 2 hours then low for 2 hours, remove chicken and strain the liquid for your base. Put liquid in cooking pot and proceed with your veggies listed above. If you don't have a slow cooker but sure to low boil your chicken for a couple of hours. I like to add garlic powder, black pepper, thyme (can be dried and not fresh), oregano and a little salt to my soup.

What are some good ideas for a meal for a campout?

We go camping quite often and I find I can cook just about anything over the fire that I can cook at home. Hot dogs, burgers, grilled cheese, etc those are all good for lunches. For dinner you could make chili, steaks, beef stew, gumbo. You also can wrap many things in foil and cook them off to the side on indirect heat. Like fish with lemon and garlic, potatoes and onions, wrap corn on the cob with er in foil. I've even made leg of lamb over the fire, and the next day made gyros with the leftovers. If you don't have a set of cast iron pots and skillets it would be a great investment for you. You really can cook just about anything with them when camping. Have a good time!

Kay so i recently took a midterm for geometry and I felt really good about it because I checked over it alot and things like that, it was pretty easy. The thing is, i ended up with a 70 on the test, if i had missed one more question I would have failed and i was devistated with this score because in my math cl i was getting A's on my tests and I was confident I atleast got a B on the midterm. But the other bubble was filed in totally and completely. And that happened for say, oh 7 of the questions? And that'd being me up to an a or b ish range if thats possible that it happened? Green gas is propane with silicon lube. Unless you live next to a place that sells green gas, you will have to buy it off of websites which will cost a fortune in the long run. Best bet is to get a propane adapter and some liquid silicon lube. The propane adapter will fit onto small propane cans found at Home Depot and Lowes. Propane is much cheaper than ordering green gas and is easier to get. To use the silicon lube you just drop a couple drops onto the propane can before putting the adapter on. As long as you keep your gun lubed you won't know the difference between propane and green gas. I have been using propane for about 3 years now with no problem.

how old are you?? this is common when your younger (under 18) I actually have a minor social anxiety issue. It's hard for me to be comfortable around family, my boyfriends family, hard to be confident in talking to people, hard to make eye contact, never wanted to go to parties thinking it'll turn out horribly. I was only on medication for a short period of time. The medicine made me slightly more talkative, very smily, and more confident. You can change these things about yourself without meds if thats ur issue. i'm 22 now and i am just a more smily person at work, with everyone, it's not always about saying the perfect thing, but at least being yourself and holding a conversation with someone. i also did a lot of drugs, x, acid, etc. which made me more open to different people. you learn everyone is the same, we all want the same feelings. Just be yourself and be more comfortable with yourself. Honestly, I don't know if this girl is right for you. My boyfriend knew my problems and would help me out if i wanted help. he didnt exactly understand my problems but gave me time, he woudlnt give up cuz he's 'bored' i never get bored with the one i want to be with. This girl might not be a good match for you. Don't you dare think your not good enough for her. Everyone has their own things... you aren't well with socialization, and she may not do well with being personal with one person and not get bored.
